Scenic Sunday

While staying with friends in the delightful village of Ramsbury (near Swindon) in Wiltshire, England, I couldn't resist taking this shot - not only for the pretty creeper growing around the windows, but also for the quaint vehicle!

I am not sure if that "pretty creeper" you described is a type of ivy vine or not. If it is ivy then the thing that holds it up is the tendrils digging into the brich mortar joints and over time it ruins the walls. Smart homeowners with previous experience using ivy will put up a kind of chain link trellis that can be as wide or narrow as needed and the vince grows on that and leaves a gap for ventilation between it and the bricks. It works really good that way.

Your vehicles, from your country, have a distinctive appearance and they seem odd-shaped to me/us in America. We have one that is similar and it would be our UPS trucks. Nice post though and I enjoyed it.
