These captivating blooms (Lisianthus, I think) were found in Mt Eliza, during last month's visit to the Mornington Peninsula and were spotted as I attempted to walk off the gastronomic treat I'd enjoyed at the Village Pantry there!
The stunning blue sky and significant clouds over Adelaide's CBD seem to be sending mixed messages as to the day's outcome, weatherwise. In fact it was a fabulous day with temperatures in the mid 20's - a welcome relief from the high 30'sC of the preceding weeks. Joining up with Skywatch Friday
Flinders Street Station, Melbourne, reflected in a window at the top of the station steps coming up from the platforms. (and no, they are not UFOs in the sky, just downlights from inside the building!).
(I might have to retract the statement on my previous post!) :-) ...... this gorgeous rose is no less feminine or delicate than the lisianthus and is one of many roses on display last weekend at Newman's Nursery.
