Goolwa outing

During an all-too brief visit by dear friends from the UK at the beginning of June, I took them to Goolwa, about an hour's drive south of Adelaide.

Although the wind was chilly, it was a sunny day and we enjoyed watching the antics of the White Heron, Pelicans, Pied and Black Cormorants (the latter in their 100's) on and around the barrages.

There sure is a crowd of cormorants. Must remember to visit this place next time I'm in Adelaide.

The birds around that area are awesome. I lived about an hour from Goolwa and always enjoyed going there!
